naah Posts: 76 Rating: (8)	Normally, there is a diode in series with Battery an Capacitor, so if you short the battery leads, it doesn't drain! Sorry, ou must wait !

If the environment temperature is higher, it will drain faster. May be you have a chance to place the CPU in a room with 40 Degree Celcius?

I did not found in any manual how many days. So I am not sure that 5 days will be enough! Somebody here wrote in this thread that it may be 5-7 days! I have found also this valuable FAQ which descripes How is my program stored in the S7-200 CPU? And for further info, you have to download the following manual: S7-200 System Manual Regards,

The clock that I set last week was now reset indicating that retentivity was lost. I was expecting to find at adress VW1156 value +10, that I writed using Network 8. Any ideea why?
