I would use a cyclic interrupt which is called every hour.. The calculation would I do in SCL.

Here as a example:

 All values are saved in a DB.

//calculate the difference betwenn actual value and value one hour before
ValueLastHour = ValueActual - ValueSaved;

//save the actual value
ValueSaved = ValueActual;

In my opinion is that one of the easiest way to calclate the value every hour.

Try it yourself and expand your knowledge, because you learn best through trial & error and in the future you won't be dependent on others anymore

The OB10 (TimeOfDay-Interrupt) will start every hour, starting today at 00:00.
You can find the settings for the OB10 at the properties/time of day interrupt.
There you can adjust the execution, start date and start time.

At the OB10 can you find the calculation for your value.
Additonally will be saved the actual Value of production to the old value of production

It run's every hour and calculate the production value of the last hour.

All the values are saved at a DB in the format UDINT.
