So many old boring bands in here, it's 2012, wake up. Useless thread but funny btw, the last good thing Metallica did was Justice but already signs of going commercial. |

Searching the net in a quest to discover unknown bands yourself instead of what media (radio, TV, ...) are trying to promote, you can discover lots of great bands/artists, although most of these will never get famous. Imo, that's not important for me. If I like a band a lot, it's good enough for me, despite what someone else thinks about it. Regarding metal stuff, I try to visit for example the lordsofmetal site once a month, to check upon new reviews of new releases in different genres there. Now and then, you can discover some great albums by doing this. Btw, Iron Maiden has done some great things but their last one(s)? |

I didn't really say Iron Maiden is a boring band, they had some great albums but their last studio album was really bad and boring, the same goes for their recent live release, but that's my opinion only. If you love it, please enjoy it as much as you can. Music is only great if you find it great yourself. Whatever someone else thinks about it, should not make a difference. Music is a personal experience. Brgds. |
