I/O scanning time in S7 400 systems

There are two ways: - you can always read/write IO devices directly from code (that's how analogue IO is usually accessed via PIx/PQx), -IO imagearea can be "partitioned" and each partition assigned to different execution levels (i.e. OBs) - after such operation when certain OB is called then OS takes care of update of IO partition. You can also update a partition via SFC call. Only OB 60-63 behave differently as you have to take care of update by yourself.
