S7-400h and single HMI(wincc)

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	I have a S7-400h plc and i want to connect it to a pc as a HMI with the WINCC software. I also have some ET200M as I/O modules with a redundant profibus link. I want to know that what is the best solution for connecting the HMI(pc with wincc) to S7-400H plc, via single network(my upper network is not redundant) I want to have the featurs of main and hotstandby system in my H plc system also. Best regards

For redundant structure you connect the two CPs. Then you must insert the CPs in the PC (WINCC). You need the software RED-CONNECT for the walked. All steps are more near described in the H-System manual in chapter 8.
