Custom IEC60870-5-104 And IEC61850

Hello everyone,

so a time ago I decided to develop my own IEC 60870-5-104 libraries. And i have been using them for quite some time without any major issue i have decided to publish them - in some way restricted but maybe useful nevertheless.

(Sadly i cannot attach full scaled project because it is too big - it is in link below on webpage in downloads. But the library is attached).
In attached library and project in link there are S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLC's with configured IEC link. Basically the library does everything for you. Necessary data has comments, if there is enough demand I may develop a full scaled documentation. But for simple use the project should be obvious of what is does.

Summary of what the library have:
Support for

- Single point with and without timetagCP56
- Double point with and without timetagCP56
- Bitstring with and without timetagCP56
- Float point with and without timetagCP56
- Receive commands for above data (so type 45,46,50,51)

There is not any timelimit for use of the library, only created arrays must be in total smaller than 100points. So you can define and send via 104 to SCADA 90IEC points without any problem.

One major advantage is, that you can freely control quality of IOA's and also you can define more ASDU's per one station (however this is not shown how to do in projects - maybe later).
One major disadvantage is that I do not support offline buffer - in my uses there is not demand for it. Also you can scale array to send 1000 IOA's or actually number - depending on memory. For example S7-1200 can hold easily 500 of SP points,...

You can test it with QTester (but this does not support more ASDU per link) or IECTest from Siemens RIC or whatever.

I have further developed IEC60870-5-104 Master and IEC61850 Client. If there is enough demand I will consider to release for testing them too.

If anyone is still interested I have made some changes in the libraries and now you can try any size of datapoins even without valid key. The connection will reset after about 1000 sent or received packets for IEC60870 and about 50 sent packets for IEC61850, so plenty of time to test it :-)
