Hi there, well, for one there are the reasons described in the manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109781848/107864248459 So loading something that contains changes to the technology object (TO) while this TO is active is not possible. On the other hand loading a changed instance-DB that contains something like MC_Power is also not possible while the TO is active (from this MC_Power instance, for example): https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109781646 And this second point can get quite out of hand, since instance-DBs can get large, depending on the program structure. E.g. you could change something that doesn't have anything to do with the TO or its code (in your eyes, functionally speaking), but in the end is within the same instance-DB; you then need to load the whole instance-DB, and as this contains the currently active MC_Power you cannot do the download. That's the experience I've made so far. Regards, |
