S210 homing with encoder zero mark

I have a S210 with a singleturn absolute encoder motor, controlled from S7-1500 (not T-CPU) as a positioning axis.  

As the axis is a linear reciprocating slide for machining, I would like the option of homing it using the encoder zero mark if necessary.

In the S210 manual (p289), it says:

Homing the axis via the equivalent zero mark

To home the axis, the technology object of the SIMATIC S7 controller can query the zero mark of the S210 drive via the encoder interface (PROFIdrive), if required. In the default setting, the encoder zero mark of the drive is selected. As an alternative to the encoder zero mark, you can select a high-speed input terminal on the drive as equivalent zero mark.

 However, it is not clear to me how to implement this at the PLC/TIA Portal end, since homing modes 2, 3, 5, 8 and 10 are not available with absolute encoder motors.

Technology object: Positioning axis v6 (can be changed to 7 if necessary)

if you use firmware V3.0 and technology version 7.0 you are able to home with the zero mark.

Yes only FW 2.9 is possible with my CPU, so I will create a homing sequence in GRAPH and use mode=7.
