Why is an event MBT visible in the diagnostics buffer of the S7-400 (H) CPU. What does this event mean? Event ID 16# 0391 MBT events OB: hex 00 PC: hex 00 DatID 1/2: hex 00 00 --> The MBT event is irrelevant to the user. Nothing can be derived from the identifiers. One can only deduce from this that there was a sync loss in an S7-400H system and the process image update was just running at this point in time. It should therefore be possible to find another corresponding event for a defect or sync loss immediately before/after it. The MBT event is not the cause of the defect or sync loss. Accordingly, nothing can be derived from the identifiers as to the cause. The entries for a defect or a sync loss should be examined more closely here. If necessary, such behavior has already been improved in a firmware update. Therefore, the description of the available versions should be checked:
