GSD FILE FOR CPU414-4H (6ES7414-4HM14-0AB0) V4.5.1

jayesh Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Dear all, We have configured CPU414-4H with hardware catalogue 63S7414-4HJ04-0AB0 V4.0, but is giving warning while compiling because our hardware is 6ES7414-4HM14-0AB0 V4.5.1. We are not able to find .GSD file for the above CPU. Can anybody help us to find the appropriate .GSD file....? Thanks in Advance Jayesh

What you are looking for is a Hardware Catalog Update.Try the HWConfig editor tools menu for a first start. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

What i understood from u r thread is you haveCPU414-4H hardwareMFLB number 6ES7414-4HM14-0AB0 V4.5.1 & in the project you configured for 63S7414-4HJ04-0AB0 V4.0 since you dont found above CPU in HW Catelogue . Correct me if i am wrong . As suggested by dchartierin previous thread You can do the Hardware updates from your Programming Station . 1. Open Hardware Configuration 2.Click on Options in Menu Bar 3.Click on Install Hardware Updates Otherwise you can also download from following link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26609816 Also you find some useful information about 414H on following link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6741018 I hope this is useful to resolve your issue. Regards, Jayesh hi jayesh I have the same problem and my problem was not solved by installing the hardware package. If it is possible, send the link of the hardware package that you installed.
