How to Automatically create alarm.

MEHMET_CAKABEY Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi friends I want to "Automatically created alarm" for Wincc and Wincc Flexible from Data Block My S7 project integrated with Wincc and Wincc Flexible project I am selected any Data Block and I am to mark any bits in properties>attribute>S7_m_c>true I am compiling WinCC OS project in S7 (with AS-OS Engineering V7.1) and WinCC tags creating from the Data Block bits. (only marked S7_m_c) In the same way I want use Data Block bits and comment creat automatically to WinCC>Alarm Logging. That is to say when compiling Wincc project in S7 then automatically creating alarms Data Block bit name = Alarm Logging tag name Data Block bit comment = Alarm Logging message text Thank you very much for answers

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (119)	The attribute S7_m_c = true just moves the item to the Tag database in WinCC. It does not create the message. The alarm blocks in Step 7 can be used to create the messages. The following link is for WinCC Flexible but it will give you an introduction to the some of the alarm blocks. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24013249. here is a link for WinCC http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23730649 Also you might consider implementing Report System Error. This automatically creates hardware and software errors associated with the PLC. These are configured in the Hardware config. the online help is very good for this. I hope you will find this helpful.
