I am experiencing an issue while trying to simulate a WinCC Unified Panel in TIA Portal V20 on Windows 11.

Problem:The "WinCC Unified Configuration" process hangs at the"Web configuration"step. Although the process appears stuck, I can eventually click "Finish," but the configuration does not seem to complete successfully.

Goal:My objective is to simulate a Unified Panel, which requires a correctly configured IIS web server.

Symptoms & Steps Taken:

• I have already used the "WinCC Unified Certificate Manager" to create and install the necessary certificates.

• In the IIS Manager, I can see a new site named WinCC_Unified_SCADA.

• However, this site is incorrectly bound to port 443 using HTTP, and I am unable to change the binding to HTTPS.

• When I try to start the WinCC_Unified_SCADA site manually, I receive an error message stating that the port is already in use.

• My attempts to resolve this by changing the port of the "Default Web Site" and creating a new HTTPS binding on port 443 for the Unified site have been unsuccessful.

I believe the root cause is the incomplete "Web configuration" step, which is leaving the IIS site improperly configured.

Thanks for the suggestion! I checked which processes are using port 443, but I'm only seeing core Windows processes like svchost.exe andS earchApp.exe.

I also found a related error in the Windows Event Viewer when the setup fails. Here is the translated log:

Given this crash and the port being occupied by a system process, is it possible to tell the Unified Configuration dialog to use a different port instead of the default 443?
