S45 is aux contact switch for ACB trip signaling. HTH.

Navnag Platinum Member Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 9/25/2024 Posts: 2325 Rating: (308)	Hello jeet2907 You can assign the following signals to a configurable Output Module attached to a 3WL BreakerCubicle Bus : Overload (L) Short-time-delay short-circuit (S) Instantaneous short-circuit (I) Ground fault (G) Overload in neutral conductor Phase unbalance - current Phase unbalance - voltage Under frequency Over frequency Under voltage Over voltage Active power in normal direction Active power in reverse direction Total harmonic distortion - current Total harmonic distortion - voltage Reversal of phase rotation direction Pl see attachment. We have used this functionality alongwith COM15 Profibus Module. Dear jeet2907 It is not a must to have COM 15 / COM 16 to use Cubicle Bus Modules. Pl see attachment regarding how to connect Cubicle Bus Modules without COM 15 / COM 16. Of course some of the options are not available if a COM 15 / COM 16 is not used. ( Pl read the manual for details ) You needACBs with ETU45B and above have built in cubicle bus. However it is possible to retrofit the ACBs without Cubicle bus at site to ETUs with CUbicle Bus. Pl speak to your Siemens Contact about this. You will also need BDA ( Breaker Data Adapter) to configure the ETU and Cubicle Bus Modules if there is no COM 15.
