If i try reinstal winhlp32 everi time show tis error : The update does not apply to your computer.

what kind of Win 7 you have installed (Prof? 32Bit? SP?).

You could repair your S7 version but I would install SP4 for V5.5 without active virus scanner and try again.

Microsoft site was offering me the wrong download a while back..
I was offered
Windows6.1-KB917607-x86.msu <<<<< 32 bit

where I should be offered
Windows6.1-KB917607-x64.msu  <<<<< what is needed: 64 bit

I have picked this up while helping someone with a similar issue on a MicroWin install a while back. Luckily I did have a copy of the file stored somewhere else. I am not going to give the file - sorry for not offering executables. (see late note)

When opening MS site with IE you are offered both files.

Me colleague solve it. He copy old WinHlp32.exe from Win XP.
