MP277 10" Touch function stops working.

Northman Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have a MP277 10" panel 6AV6 643-0CD01-1AX1 where the touch function has stopped working. Right now i have installed a USB mouse to get the function back for the operator (as i have no spare panel). According to my colleague, this has happened once before approx 2 months ago, but the panel just started working by itself again, so the mouse was removed. I have tried rebooting the panel by removing the 24V, this did not restore the function. I then cleaned the panel twice (wasnt really dirty) and did another reboot. This did not work either. The panel has been in use for approx 2.5 years. Have any of you come across this problem before? and how did you solve it?.

Do you log tag or alarm on a memory card? Do you use many script? You should do an operating system update with reset to factory setting. How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? Tweety

Simon Daykin Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	You helped me out with the USB mouse comment. I hadn't thought of that. Plugged in USB mouse and got into control paneland performed a screen recalibration. Panel is now working great. Previously it was just beeping and otherwise unresponsive to touch. Thanks Simon
