Dear experts,

I have an used 840C Index G300 lathe. A month ago the power supply to PLC-CPU was blown so i had to replace it with a new one. After that when i powered up it appeared an error namely: (43) PLC-CPU not ready for operation. I did some research and followed the Siemens documents

-> the additional error info in PLC service: cause 0005, 0000 0000 0000 0000: call for a block that has not been loaded

I did a general reset: PLC, NCK, DATA reset. Loaded the backup in the machine harddisk

-> the problem still exists.

I used Simatic Step 5 to connect to the machine and get a copy of the current PLC in the machine

->i am not an expert on this but in my opinion the program lacks program/logic block, there are only FBs,FXs,DBs.

I attach here a zip file of Step5.V7.3 and the program from the machine.

Could any one who familiar with S5 help me with it? (what is the exact problem i got here? how could a running PLC get an error like this one?)

I would appreciate any tip/advice/help here.

1. Are you sure the NC-PLC back up data which you have is correct.

2. Please explain step by step how you reload the data?

3 The errors which you mentioned, are the same even after re-loading back up data or other errors are displayed?

1/ In my opinion the NCK backup is good because after i reload it the machine config is right (5 axis, drive modules recognized)

3/Yes its the same error before and after resetting+reloading data.
