Simatic panel TP Touch panel

Kiren Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	We have one new project for crane in India. Here we have Siemens Touch Panel (Simatic Multi Panel) in cabin and E-room on the crane. I mention the problem we are facing as below….I could observe that Touch Panel in cabin is completely dark. Earlier it was working. I mean if we go very close to the monitor then we are able to see some values. Power to TP panel (24 V DC) is OK . I believe TP panel is OK only issue is that screen is completely dark. Even I can here sound (BIP sound) when I touch with finger. Can we adjust some setting in hardware so that screen comes to original brightness. According to this you can find in description manual way to adjust the brightness. But in your case you should change the panel with new one. And the old one to send to Siemens repair center. My opinion is that the back light inside into the panel has been burned. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
