Hello! I am working with WinCC 8 and trying to define an Output variable that is different, depending on a string name. I mean, I do not intend to change the actual OutputValue property but the tag that is used for the OuputValue. I tried to achieve this by means of a script in the Output Property, However the returned value must be a double and I need to return a string on order to change the pointed variable for the output. The goal is to make a I/O field that can be used several times without it being a faceplate. I tried with this :

But, as mentioned above, this doesn't change the name of the pointed variable but the actual OutputValue. Thanks Edit : Just found the answer here |
