how to control SIMOREG DC Master drive via a potentiometer?

I want to control an SIMOREG (6RA7018-6DS22-0) single quadrant drive via a potentiometer and a start/stop switch, also I want to view on the PMU the "firing angle". My questions are: what parameters I should set? on which terminals I should connect the potentiometer? on which terminals I should connect the START/STOP switch? Please I need help. Tomy.

I want to control an SIMOREG (6RA7018-6DS22-0) single quadrant drive via a potentiometer and a Hello Tommy, Using the SIMOREG DC Master 6RA70 compendium look at: page 226 (digital inputs) X171 :36 start x171:37 stop x171:38 enable. page 229 (AI) X174:4 and 5. There you'll see which parameters should be change according to connected potenciometer signal.(type of signal, offsets, polarity...).Just rfollow the diagram. Final otput will be K0011 and follow where is going.... Take a look there and then will discuss parameters... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
