I am interested in retrofitting a SIMOCODE pro C control system into an exisitng motor control cabinet in order to interface the starters with Profibus. The starters are not Siemens starters, but are standard non-reversing and soft start starters. I've been told (not by Siemens personnel) that I will have interface issues here, but I don't see how. Does anyone have any insight?
