CN4100 and the CN integration library for v9.0SP3 and higher do not require use of CP443-1, you can use the integrated PN port of the AS410. CN4100 and AS410 typically communicate on the plant bus network as if the CN4100 is another AS. The Modbus network and Plant bus network of the CN4100 should be on different ports otherwise your CN4100 configuration will be not best practice and also might not even work. CN4100 has 4x network ports 2x for plant bus and 2x for field network (modbus). Use of CP443-1 is up to you based on your communications loading and physical layer design. For our deployed CN4100 applications, we just use integrated PN port. |
