TIA Portal does not have a Fault tolerant connection, so only WinCC 7.x support 400H connections.

For TIA Portal you need to make direct connection to each cpu, like the example with panels.

I think you say TIA Portal and use Device proxy. I have question about Wincc Professional Eng v17/19 (TIA portal) and S7-400H. the program composed in Simatic manager v7.5 and I want to use this program and connect it to new SCADA according to this link . 

this is compatible to use them (Wincc Professional (TIA portal) and S7-400H) together?

I’ve downloaded sample S7-400H project (Realization of a Fault-Tolerant Tunnel Lighting System With S7-400H) from this link and the program wrote in Step7 v5.5. I import it to Device proxy in TIA Portal v17 and then add Wincc RT Advanced/Professional.

The schematic PDF file is attached.

To call VB script, I must use “event” to monitor changing value of “trigger_PLC1” tag (step.7 in this link), but I can not use “event” in Wincc RT Professional!!
