Hi all,

In migrating a project from V7.0 to V8, I've found the "Siemens STEP 7 S7 Combo Box" (S7FlatComboBox) is no longer available.

As per this post, I've tried copying and registering the "...\SIEMENS\Common\S7ACTLDX\s7actldx.dll" file to the OS, but it doesn't seem to register and be available for use still. 

Is it possible to still use this control in WinCC V8, or do I need to change them all to normal Combo Box's, which have a different syntax?

This Step7 Combobox Control was not developed for the usage in WinCC. So that it works so far was OK but Siemens will not be careful in changing things that affects non WinCC Controls...

I would recommend changing to WinCC build in Combobox Controls. The chances for they will stay the same in future versions is very high
