Normally, a PROFIBUS DP network is operated by one master. This master polls all slaves cyclically. The master could, for example, be a PLC with interface module that is compatible with the DP standard. Each HMI device is a slave and is assigned permanently to a master. Your CPU does not appear to have a Profibus-DP port, so you will be using the serial NITP protocol for your exchanges. Just follow the procedures suggested in the WinCC Flexible manual to install the driver and configure the comm links. You will have to rebuild the application for the operator panel, of course, but I think you already understand that.
