Hi sgfox, did you do the first step in the meta-iot2000-bsp Readme for setting up your bulding PC? For setting up your host pc see the following description:3. Setting Up to Use the Yocto Project This steps are needed in order to build an Yocto image. Best regards! |

Hi Stephan, One question: Did you read the README.md ? Nearly the first sentence is "This uses Yocto 2.1..." and the section "Prepare" says "git -C poky checkout yocto-2.1". Also basically every other layer that is used is checked out with an "old" version, so it fits the yocto 2.1. In your case I would try to set up a new build environment and follow the readme step by step. Unfortunately I never had the timestamp error, but maybe its related to that Yocto version problem, so: good luck with that one... And just from curiosity: What do you mean with opkg on devices in the field? |

Hi sgfox, nice to hear that you succeeded Do you use a prototype hardware or a release hardware? This topic has been discussed a few times. For example in this post. For a debug serial connection you can use a USB to UART cable. I use this one: http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/products/0429307/. You can download the drivers here: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm Best regards! |
