Forcing freezes the S7 CPU switchover

Techy Posts: 86 Rating: (2)	Hello ALL, I am having a redundant S7-400H system. I am forcing some flags in the CPU 0 which is master; these get copies to CPU 1 which is slave. Now I make the CPU 1 as master & the system is still fine. When I try to switch back to CPU0 it doesnt't change over unless I clear the force flags in the slave CPU & power down & power up the CPU0. Did anyoneface a similar problem? Thanks, Techy

Forcing Variables It is not permitted to force variables which lie in the I/O or process image range of a DP standard slave and belong to a consistency range, as the user program can overwrite these variables in spite of a force job.
