gorjanc Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello I have a big problem. My LOGO and my INSYS GSM 4.1 dont seam to talk to each other. I can send SMS easly with AT commands but, I cant get it to send one which was trigerd by LOGO!. Do you guys have any sugestions help me please.

Fux Posts: 661 Rating: (123)	Hi gorjanc, Once again for to understand you: You can send an AT command to the modem and you can hear the modem´s relais if the AT command was the right one. But you cannot send a SMS out of the modem? This can have several reasons. Best you try to attach your LOGO! program and your HSComm-file (zipped), then i´ll have a look at it. Please tell us also how you have connected LOGO! and the Modem. Perhaps you could also attach a wiring diagram. Best Regards Fux

gorjanc Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Sorry if I didnt make much senseit was very early in the morning . Logo and the INSYS GSM are conected as is showno on the attached picture(povezava.jpg). The INSYS GSM itself works fine I can send an SMS with AT commands, the power up SMS works fine to. I want that the INSYS GSM will send an alarm when the output Q1 activates. Despite setting the Q1 outpout as monitored(setting the number and text to be sent) in HSCom software there is no response from the INSYS GSM. For testing purpuses my program in LOGO yust conects input L1 and Q1 so there is not much point in sending you my program. Which file form HSComm would you like to see I dont know which one to send. Fux Posts: 661 Rating: (123)	I mean the .HGP HSCom creates if you save your configuration. If you´re using the serial data cable as shown in your picture you have to do following things (i hope i remember all the settings[:)] ): If your basic settings are done please go to the last point in the menue of HSCom called "LOGO". Then you have to mark the output Q1 two times!! At first "values in use" and then also under "monitored values". Enter in the pop up windows what you want to do, that sould have been all, but i´m not sure. You could also contact INSYS under http://www.insys-tec.de/index_eng.htm. Hope that will help you :-)

Maybe it´s necessaryto enter ALL mobile numers in that format (+.....). I have also marked: "Automatic SMS processing" and "Control/Optput 2 activated by command (AT, SMS, DTMF). Hänninen Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I had exactly the same problem when I tried my INSYS-modem. First I changed the port parameter like baud rate, stop bit and that stuff, to be the same between LOGO!soft and LOGO! and HSComGSM and INSYS. If that’s the same it also must be same between LOGO! and INSYS. But I did still have problem to get signals from the LOGO! to send SMS. I find out that it was the communication between LOGO! And INSYS that newer started, then I tried to send “STATUS?” via SMS to the LOGO! And the INSYS and LOGO! Finally started to talk. But this is not the easiest way to start the communication, later I find out that you also can press the reset button on the INSYS then the LOGO! It’s connected. You know that the LOGO! And INSYS is talking then the RX/TX is flashing.
