Hello kouri, Thanks for your explanation. I recommend you to mount the WP241 beside the PLC. The PLC shall communicate with the WP241 via the „normal“ S7-program, but not via Modbus TCP. You can download the TIA Portal example project for the WP241 on the internet here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/90260674 Please use the download „READY_FOR_USE_S7.zip (50,0 MB)“. Depending on your TIA Portal version (TIA V14 … V18), you can use the correct TIA Portal project. Download the whole TIA Portal example project into your PLC. Afterwards open the DB241: - Set the parameter „CMD_B“ in DB241 to „2030“ (= Read DR30) - in the structure „DR30“ you can see the current weight value at the parameter „WEIGHT“ You can zero the scale by executing the command „1001“ in the structure „s_CMD1“: - set „i_CMD_CODE“ to „1001“ - set the bit „bo_CMD_TRIGGER“ one time to TRUE I also recommend to you to take a look to this video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUODKaqbZQ0 Here, the Step7-programming is explained. Best regards Siwarexi |
