I'm new to the world of automation and I need help. I have 2 Oriental Motors with DRIVER 100W BLHD100K.
Can anyone give me an example of the logic I should use to calculate speed and receive alarms?
In attachement I send the controller datasheet.

What wiring scheme and voltage level adjustment devices have you chosen to convert PLC 24V to 4-5V CMOS required by the motor controller?  Or, are you even using a PLC?

There are frequency to voltage signal conditioners available that convert the 30 PPR motor speed input into a voltage.  From there, the voltage can be scaled as needed into RPM by whatever device is interpreting them.

Back up, let's start with the most important question:  what device is going to be connected to the I/O connector with the motor control and feedback?
