we have the IoT 2050 for about two months now and we use it to connect to a Profinet Client via the supplied profinet Driver and test App, which is mostly working fine, but we sometimes have an issue after boot. I have been in contact with the Support for the Profinet Driver and we found that the issue is most likely a software issue/firewall issue independent of the Profinet Driver.

Sometimes after booting, no packets at all are reaching the Adapter eno2, which is used for Profinet communication. I can see with wireshark on a Profinet switch that the Profinet client is sending Ident packages to the IoT. However in the faulty case I cant see the packages with tcpdump on the eno2 Adapter.

I have the IoT2050 Advanced with the IOT2050_RT_Example_Image_V1.3.1_PNDriver_2.3.zip and the example Test App. We have four IoT2050 devices and the issue happens on every device. I have installed a lot of software and run updates, but I have also seen the issue on a fresh Image.
