ScreenSaver in Basic HMI

Yes, I have seen it! In the documentation, it seems like I'm able to use it (image 1). However, when I try to add it to the project (Options -> Global libraries -> Open library; after downloading the zip file and unzipping it), it doesn't appear (image 2 and 3). The file extension is ".zal19", maybe it's not available for V20.

Thanks again for your help, but I think it won't work. I believe the other image with the minimum requirements isn’t very clear, because I was following the step-by-step instructions and I don't have all the functionalities needed.

For example:

1. I don’t have where to drag the script.

2. There’s neither a switch nor the option to go to “Properties > Interface.”

I couldn’t continue with the next steps because I need the new functions that should be created by the scripts.

To keep it short, I think this might not work. Thanks again for your help, and if you remember anything else I could try, I’ll definitely give it a go. :)

I already tried something similar, but I'll carefully read the information in your link and follow your steps to give it another try.

I just have one question: initially, do I need to set and reset the tag when pressing and releasing the button? If so, I’ll need to add that "function" to all the buttons in my project. But what if the user doesn’t press a button, and instead taps somewhere else on the screen, like while thinking? Is it possible to cover that area to detect such touches?

Your ideakind ofworked, but there's a bug that's melting my brain. When the timer ends, the screensaver is loaded as expected. However, when I press the button on the screensaver to go back to the previous screen, it briefly shows the previous screen for about 0.1 seconds, then loads the screensaver again and starts counting from the beginning.

I'm not sure why, but I can't record my screen right now. So below are some images to show you what I'm talking about.

P.S. As you can see, I’ve changed the acquisition cycle to 500 ms. And, all the buttons on the main menu make the same thing.

I think I found the issue!

I have the “trigger” set to change the value, which causes the HMI to load the screensaver every time the value changes from 0 to 1 AND from 1 to 0. To solve this, I can change the timer's output to 0 right after it turns 1. That way, the program will register the change quickly and be ready when the user presses the button to exit the screensaver.
