I want to use the already installed servo driver INDRAMAT TDM 1.2 with the s7-1200 in a machine. Does anyone know how this servo driver works? I can't find anything (or I am just not good searching info) as to how this servo works, what kind of signals use and if it is compatible with the s7-1200.

The above might not even be what you need. Best to ask the Bosch/Rexroth for some information. You may have some issue to configure the drive also. Or do you have something for that?

I am guessing the "tacho" input pins could be used as a slave to PTO. But there is analog too. There is someone that did a youtube on integration with Mach3. Perhaps there is something to learn if you can make at what the person says.
