It is very normal that the lubrication cycle is started when powering on.

I now they could have a pressure switch that does not send back information that pressure was build.

but it is not easy for me to determine without the PLC program.

 Is it new machine? if yes check your machine manufacturer maintenance manual --it should be telling you how to reset that error

such as oil level low or floating sensor dirty or defective

So I had a look.

There are 3 things that can start the pump.

M20.0 which is a lubrication command send only during first scan (boot up of the controller)

M20.1 which is the manual push button on the MCP.

And then there is a timer.

Now this timer and every time in between is controlled with user MD.

I think that the reason is that the User MD is simply set to low.

Please have a look in the machine MD - Shift + System - Mach. Data - NC Basis list

14510(24) = Lubrication interval in minutes, I think this might be 0.

14510(25) = Lubrication ON timer when in auto in seconds (Interval minutes has passed), I believe this is also very low or 0

14510(26) = Lubrication pressure check delay in seconds

14510(27) = Lubrication ON timer when starting up the machine in seconds

14510(28) = Lubrication ON timer when pressing the manual lubrication button in seconds.

I can't share the PLC programming tool.

If you want it you need to contact your local Siemens office and ask for it.

But you do not need the Tool box for diagnostic and setting the user MDs, this can be done from the CNC controller.
