Hi everyone,

I’m working with a SINAMICS G120 with CU240E (firmware 4.7 SP13) and need to integrate it into RSLinks Classic.

I have already downloaded several EDS files from the Siemens website, but none of them are recognized (the drive shows up as Unrecognized Device).

Has anyone experienced the same issue?
Which EDS file worked for you, or how did you solve it?

Any advice or shared experience would be greatly appreciated 🙏

As shown in this document, the correct version of a CU240E2-PN EDS will depend on the firmware of the Sinamics controller. Which firmware version are you using?

In that case, I would suggest you contact a Siemens tech directly, through a Support Request. Give as good a description as you can of the unit you are working with, including model number and firmware version, so they can provide the best answer they have.
