The "Tag" object will not have a valid value until the "Read" method has been executed. So you need to change the script in a way like:

Your screenshots explain why. You are running the script from a scheduled task. However, in WinCC Unified, the scheduled task is an independent process from the UI. WinCC Unified devices allow for multiple UI processes with Web Client functionality.

In short, UI functionality cannot be used in a scheduled task.

Additionally, your list of scheduled tasks indicates potential performance issues because many of your tasks have short cycle triggers. There is probably some room for adapting to the way Unified works, but understanding all of this in detail is a lengthy process.

Hi,

You will need a screen item that is always visible. In a typical WinCC Unified project configuration, there is a start screen that never changes because it contains windows for the content screens. In this case, one of these windows will serve as the always-visible item. Select a property of your choice for this item and create a script for dynamization. You can then trigger this script by a tag change. Since it is part of the UI, it can access all UI objects.
