CPU 416-5H with ET200 M Firmware Compatibility

Albassiouni Advanced Member Joined: 6/26/2019 Last visit: 1/22/2026 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I have an S7-400 H System CPU 416-5H PN/DP Firmware: V6.0.9 that connected with ET200M, IM153-2 HF (6ES7 153-2BA10-0XB0) with FW V6.0.3, now I need to try to add a new rack with the same ET200M, IM153-2 HF, with firmware V5.0.2 but the newly added redundant ET200M rack (IM153-2 HF FW V5.0.2) is not detected on the PROFIBUS network. Existing ET200M racks with the same IM type but FW V6.0.3 operate normally. So my questions are : Is a firmware upgrade mandatory for IM153-2 HF to be compatible with CPU 416-5H FW V6.0.9 in an H-system? Is IM153-2 HF FW V5.0.x supported with CPU FW V6.0.x on redundant PROFIBUS?
