The manual and FAQ referenced in the linked post are all available.  The FAQ describes the external program call to launch the preinstalled CE media player as well as suggests additional software which may help target media specifications of the TP700 Comfort - and other panels.

You do of course need the Comfort Panel (or Advanced / Runtime Advanced) - for others searching and finding this forum post in the future.

I am not an expert in all things Comfort Panel, but I do know tricks to solve lots of problems even though there may be a perfectly useful solution already available - but that I am unaware.

For example, with absolutely no real knowledge of where this bool tag comes from, I know you can use a script that acts on a bool tag change from say FALSE to TRUE to cause a (hidden) button to toggle on and shortly afterwards toggle right back off again.

I also know Comfort Panels allow scripts to operate.

I also know how to create hidden buttons.  In fact, I do it in many of my projects.  There are probably much more acceptable ways to accomplish the task, but hiding a button does not disable the button (at least in my experience).  Pushing a button, hidden or not, off the screen makes it completely impossible to press.

I assume you know how to write scripts since you are using a Comfort Panel.

I looked for relevant information, but all I have found is how to use buttons to start media files.

I couldn't find any information about how to play audio file using bool.

Is it possible to play audio file with invisible player, only options I have found are variations of minimized player?
