RF 120C does not see the RFID tag

What kind of card are you using?

If communication between RF1040R and RF120C is working, what is not working (spefically)? How did you see coomunication is working?

Configuration of RF120C is correct?

Are you using a configuration for RF1040R?

That all looks quite promising.

The block you're usiing on page one reads the firmware version of the reader and that seems to work.

If you're interested in ID number of the card, all you need to do is use a correspong block. It would send a different command to the reader (get the UID instead of the firmware version)

Where's the block from that you're using?

Sorry, I have forgotten this part. Now there is in the video.

In this video you can see the problem, the presence bit is always false and the busy is always true. The bloc don't activate the done bit.

PS:{"Ident_data". Write} is a Array[0..100] of Byte

The presence indication (LED and bit) will only work if RF200/RF300 readers are used with Moby mode set to "RF200/RF300..."

When connecting a RF1000 reader you're using rs232 to send and receive commands (freeport mode. The RF1000 settiting is a freeport setting, fitting RF1000). In freeport mode the presence indicator is used to signal that new data has been received.

Normally a command has to be sent to reader and when it responds, presence is indicated (so you know you can read the data). That is also the case in your first example where the reader status was read (you probably couldn't see the presence LED because the block reads the data as soon as it's available).

An exception to this mechanism (send command, receive answer) would be if autoread was active in the RF1000 reader. The reader will send data automatically when a card is presented (only answers need to be read then).
