Solar Positioning Algorithm (SPA) Library for SIMATIC S7-1200 / S7-1500The "Solar Positioning Algorithm (SPA) Library" provides the calculation of the actual position of the sun for any location on Earth. The position of the sun is given in relation to the angles Azimuth and Zenith. Which can then be used to calculate the right angle for the Tracking movement This library can be universally used with the following controller:

Hi,
That's the point. The blocks are protected via Know-How protection. I have never seen a library from Siemens which was Know-How protected and at the same time the password was published. This would not make any sense, otherwise Siemens would have released the blocks without any protection. So the conclusion is. It's not wanted to be able to see the code, only to use the blocks as they are described. You can have a look at the LGF library. There are blocks like "4.2.5 LGF_AstroClock (FB / V3.0.1)" to track sunrise sunset based on GPS coordinates. Maybe it is somehow used, or you can build something own with it. Hello, don't you also use one or two sensors per axis, in order to refine the placement of the solar panel?
