Communication between PLC (S7-1200 - TIA portal V18) with WINCC 7.5 SP2 Upd 17 through simulation

noor_mohamed22 Joined: 3/28/2023 Last visit: 11/9/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi When I try to communicate between PLC (S7-1200 - TIA portal V18) with WINCC 7.5 SP2 Upd 17 through simulation, Communication is not established (Checked parameters, IP, set PG/PC). No issues were found when tried communicating in real time between PLC and WINCC installed PC. Please anyone suggest what went wrong and how to resolve this issue?

Towome Platinum Expert Joined: 7/9/2015 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 4028 Rating: (603)	Hi, perhaps this manual will help you - please check chapter 6.3.6 - they don´t speak with "normal" PLCSim - only Advanced: WinCC supports the simulation of a virtual controller with the SIMATIC S7-PLCSIM Advanced simulation software but S7-1200 will not supported by PLCSIM Adv. WinCC V7.5 SP2: Configuration and communication Regards, Towome
