This is Portal's SCL version:

STRING_TO_CHAR(Strg := STRING_INFO[Actual_Line],                                                            
pChars := 0,
/Cnt => countedChars,
Chars := String_Info_Array);

I need to convert to S7 v5.3 but there is no block i can find to show how to structure it.

Any ideas?

I don't need the pChars or Cnt. So i made this:

STRING_Info_Array := STRING_TO_CHAR(STRING_INFO[INT_TO_CHAR(Actual_Line)]));

The 'String_Info_Array(Char)' & 'STRING_INFO(String)' are both Arrays while '[Actual_Line]' is an INT.

Still has an issue with it.
