Hello All, I have 414-2 dp and 3 IM connected to it.I am shifting all HW (i.e, IM and PLC)on 1516 PLC.I am able to configure IM's with 1516 PLC. PLC at site is having 2 AI and 4 AO card attached.For now 414-2dp is programmed on simatic manager and 1516 is on TIA.We are upgrading project from simatic manager to TIA.How I can use 414 PLC as slave to 1516.Also do I need to configure both PLC in TIA portal only or saperate configuration to be done in Simatic Manager and TIA? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, yes this works. For this exists a FAQ if - you use 2 Projects you need GSD File. How do you configure a communication between two projects in STEP 7, whereby you configure a CPU as slave.also check this: Example of how to configure a CPU as an I slave Regards, Towome |
