I need some guidance on how to use the the IE/PB link as a PN/DP coupler. Looking through the forum I came across this post, saying it is possible: Couplers DP & PN - Entries - Forum - Industry Support - Siemens The manual linked in the above post mentions using the RDREC instruction to read the I&M data record, but not much else. The setup I have is a 1515T connected to the IE/PB Link on the ethernet side, and a 314C-2DP on the profibus side. I have the IE/PB link setup as network gateway in standard mode (I believe this is the correct setting), and i want to exchange 64 bytes of data between the two systems, but I don't understand how to configure the exchange. Do I have to use Put/Get Functions? Or do I need to use RDREC/WRREC or RD_REC/WR_REC? |

Here are the screenshots. Other than the settings shown I'm not sure what needs to be changed. Right now I just don't understand how to address the IO data.
