How to integrate a MEAF/MEAG with my S7-300??

Do you have the GSD file to configure it in the HW Config and how to use it to read and set the parameters in the scale?? Thanks for your help. Best regards.

Buhler engineers give me gsd file and manual about datagram structure of data communication (in that occasion i was the acquirer of the machinery). Ask for the correct manual, because Buhler use MEAG hardware in various scale's models. ID no. of usefull manuals are clearly written in the third or fourth page of machinery's usage manual. Ask Buhler. A note: buhler develops his scada software, this software for what i know is based on S7 PLCs and WinCC... so they have all you need.

Borg27 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Umencho I'm not sure about copyright status of that gsd file... For what I know, if you buy a MEAG hardware you buy a profibus device so gsd is included... In prior version, that was MEAF, you have to buy additional board for DP connection (I'm 75% sure)... but in MEAG profibus is integrated... For programming example, that i have, i cannot share, as it is, for confidentiality reasons... Eventually I'can extract some parts of code... but if you have Buhler manual is more clear and clean...

Buhler sent me the gsd file for this equipment but when I need install gsd file I saw same problem, I wrote under please check. I closed PCS7 program and I install gsd file but everytime I saw same problem. "An update is presently not possible. In one or more STEP 7 applications at least one GSD file or type file is being referenced."" I need urgent reply please.
