For a 132kW unit operating, the heat dissipation will be in the region of 4 kW. The chiller, if I understand this correctly will be 746Watts,  and would be therefore be inadequate.

Disregarding all other heat generating components, within the enclosure, that is.

Master drive VC, was a ‘rough and tough drive’, but joking aside the heat generated by any power unit will be in the region of 3%, which equated to about 4 kW. This is not taking into account other great generating components in the same enclosure.

To remove this heat, requires 827M3 of air per hour, at an ambient of 25 Deg Centigrade, if you were to ‘ditch’ the chiller. Provide the air is clean, that is.

Mr Tractor, good afternoon! I hope you are fine.

I was seeing some of your posts and comments referring to the F30037 faults that occur in some sinamics.

On this occasion, this same fault is happening to me in a Sinamics S120 from where a diesel oil pump of about 110Kw is controlled.

It turns out that on some occasions this failure occurs, but upon reaching the cabinet where it is located, the cabinet is hot but perhaps not so hot that it causes said failure.

We have carried out some tests on this, taking as a reference what the equipment manual indicates, among them:

- Check the operation of the fan. It works correctly, it is activated when the temperature in the rectification plate reaches 56ºC and it turns off when it drops to 45ºC.

- The operation of the fans that cool the cabinet was confirmed.

- The load (pump + motor) was verified, they were turned by hand and no anomalies, noises, friction or efforts were observed in the rotation of both.  - The electrical connections of both the drive and the motor connection were verified and they are OK.

My question to all this is, what could be the possible cause of failure if all of the above is correct?

I appreciate in advance any tip, or advice that you could give me to analyze this failure.    All the best.  Martin
