VBS command Parent to open a trend

gcanoVFA Joined: 10/30/2022 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, I need assist to a problem I'm having in a VBS script: I have a 4 monitor Scada distributed in 4 Picture Windows all located in a Main Screen. In one of them(Picture window 2 named "01_00_00_Principal2.pdl)I have I have another Picture Window(Picture Window 2.1 named "Ventana_central2")where I show the pdl I want to visualize. In this case, I want to open a pdl(named "80_00_Graficas.pdl")that contains a Trend(named "Control1")and in this Trend I want to graph a variable. I attached a picture where you can see screens structure. The case is that none of them worked. Can you please help me to load the variable I want to graph in the trend? I hope I have explained myself well. Thanks! This is also very easy, it is explained in the Help system: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109792622/56267519627 Check the VBS example VBS199 in the manual. With this knowlede you can go downwards with the parent operator and then go upwards into the screen windows to dynamise your Trend View control Bye Murof
