Maybe an update would be helpfull: Operating System Updates for CPU412-3H / CPU414-4H / CPU414-4H PG / CPU417-4H The newest one for your CPU should be the V3.1.5 good luck Sabine

Top of diagnostic buffer: Diagnostic buffer of module CPU 414-4 H Order No./ Description Component Version 6ES7 414-4HJ00-0AB0 Hardware 1 - - - Firmware V 3.1.3 Rack: 0 Slot: 3 With this version of firmware the system worked for 4 years without any problems. I will try to flash a more recent version V 3.1.5 after the production stop and it will be possible to stop both PLC.
