R&H CO. Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	hi everyone can i replace the cpu (6es7 412-2XG00-0AB0 V3.0.1 ) with this CPU (6ES7 414-3xj00-0AB0) and what changes must i make to the program ?

This is a comparison which I made from HW config editor: 6ES7 412-2XG00-0AB0 Work memory 72KB code and 72 KB data; 0.2 ms/1000 instructions; 2 KB DI/O; 16 connections; 2DP/MPI; send and receive capability for direct data exchange; constant bus cycle time; routing; with multicomputing capability; firmware V3.0 6ES7 414-3XJ00-0AB0 Work memory 384KB code and 384 KB data; 0.1 ms/1000 instructions; 8 KB DI/O; 32 connections; 2DP/MPI and 1 slot for IF submodule; send and receive capability for direct data exchange; constant bus cycle time; routing; with multicomputing capability; firmware V3.0 the 2nd CPU obviously has better resources than the first one.Luckily it support some special features such as direct data exchange,constant bus cycle time and multicomputing.While deleting the old CPU in your project jot down some parameters assigned in it such as OBs priorities,special settings for some features and Bus parameters if constant bus cycle is used in your project. Check the settings in your project for utilized options of the old CPU to be implemented in the new one. regards
