problem in H redundant system

The problem which I am facing is when I force any of input from redundant IM modules and put one of the CPU IN stop mode module synchronization is not happening. I mean other CPU is not becoming Master. Is there any reason for that.. Plz guide me.. thanks, shailesh

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 11/16/2024 Posts: 12294 Rating: (2691)	Hello shailesh; Please read the following FAQ, and remember that forcing is a test function in Step 7: No switching to Redundant mode when PG function for Test and Startup is running in STEP 7 V5.x I think it is not difficult to deduce that other redundancy functionscould bedisabled while test functions are active. Try the switchoveragain while no forcing is enabled, see if the system responds. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartiier

Therefore the CPU goes to Stop andUpdate procedure aborted. This is only if you are online with PC/PG Station not with WinCC. This is a system property. Regards APS
