Hello Lee.best Distance Travelled per rotation of the Roller = pi xDia of roller. Encoder is mounted on the roller so : Distance travelled per pulse = ( pi xDia of roller.) / Encoder Pulses per revolution You can use the HSC instruction to count pulses. Total DIstance travelled = No of Pulsed * Distance per pulse Have a look at the following application example : Micro Automation: Controlled Positioning with Standard Drives (MAS 22) Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |

Hello, I have done that .. Now I am facing problem that After some maximum count my encoder counts starts from zero ..At that time My lenth calculation becomes wrong!!!! It gives False Alarm of length missmatch in my scada.... What to do? Thanks, Lee |
